What Is a Vent Head?

Our VentHead is an innovative adaption of the traditional gooseneck. With its integrated mist eliminating cartridge and self-opening/closing ball float, clean dry air can be made available from any deck.

Why It’s Important

In harsh sea and weather conditions, air intake vents easily draw in moisture, salt, and debris. Our VentHeads:

  • Keep rain and seaspray out of ventilation systems
  • Prevent corrosion of equipment, ducting and hulls
  • Let air move freely so systems work properly
  • Cut down on maintenance and repair costs

Strong and Smart Design

Our vent heads are made in Australia and built to survive the toughest conditions:

  • Made from marine-grade aluminium
  • Designed with self-opening/closing ball float to stop green water
  • Build to meet Classification Society requirements
  • Fit for new builds or easily retrofitted to existing vessels
  • Coatings and finishes available for extra protection
